Day Breakdown
The Day Breakdown calculator asks where your twenty-four hours actually go, then shows you the answer as proportions that are difficult to unsee. How it works: you allocate your hours across sleep, work, commuting, eating, screens, exercise, and everything else, and the tool renders the totals as shares of your day, your week, and — the uncomfortable part — your year, where "just an hour a day" of anything becomes over two hundred hours annually. Time-use research consistently shows people misestimate where their hours go, and the breakdown corrects the picture in the way only arithmetic can. People use it before productivity overhauls, to justify or demolish the claim that there is no time for a new habit, in coaching and therapy contexts, and as a family exercise in negotiating shared time. Tip: fill it in twice — once for your actual current day and once for the day you want — because the side-by-side comparison turns vague dissatisfaction into a specific, actionable list of hours to move.
